DESCRIPTION:WE MEET AT THE RANGE FIRST-GATE OPENS AT 8AM & CLASS STARTS AT 8:30AM. We will shoot in the morning under shade to avoid the heat. After everyone qualifies we will meet in the classroom to finish the class!!!\nRange Location is Gallardo Farms / Gallardo Firearms Training28956 Reservation Road Porterville.\nBest way to get directions is use your phone, open your maps app, and search for Gallardo Farms or Gallardo Firearms Training.\nClassroom Location is Century 21 at 878 W. Morton Ave in Porterville.\nSPACE IS LIMITED!!!! PLEASE Register in advance on the website or via text.\nCCW Class – 8 Hour Renewal (as required by new law)8 Hour Day towards Initial (law now requires 16 hours) Initial CCW Class, this class will count towards the 16 hour requirement, day 2 can be attended at any other 8 Hour CCW Class).\nTulare County & Kings County Only\nThe course shall include instruction on firearm safety, firearm handling, shooting technique, safe storage, legal methods to transport firearms and securing firearms in vehicles, laws governing where permitholders may carry firearms, laws regarding the permissible use of a firearm, and laws regarding the permissible use of lethal force in self-defense.\nThe course shall include a component, no less than one hour in length, on mental health and mental health resources.\nThe course shall require students to pass a written examination to demonstrate their understanding of the covered topics.\nThe course shall include live-fire shooting exercises on a firing range and shall include a demonstration by the applicant of safe handling of, and shooting proficiency with, each firearm that the applicant is applying to be licensed to carry.\nThe Classroom portion will be conducted at Century 21 and the Range portion will be conducted at Gallardo Farms\nCost $130 for Renewal 8 Hour Course ($130 per 8 Hour session)\nFor Initial training you pay $130 per each 8 hour class, you can take any 2-8 hour Renewal CCW classes to meet the new state16 hour requirement, so you are welcome to take the second class within 90 days. You can also complete the additional 8 hours by taking one of our pistol classes in combination with open range time. Text me for more info.\nPayment options, cash, apple pay, Venmo, or checks payable to “Jesus Gallardo”, due upon check in.\nEquipment required, bring each handgun you want to carry with your CCW, 50 rounds for your primary gun, and 25 rounds for additional guns. Glasses (sunglasses/prescription ok), hearing protection, holsters are not required but welcomed, however please have some type of case, as all guns need to be in a case or holstered.
