CCW INITIAL TRAINING (TULARE & KINGS COUNTY)
Due to state law SB2 the class requirements have changed, which require us to adjust our curriculum to be in compliance, initial classes now require 16 hours, renewals require 8, both with written tests. We are anticipating to start the new ccw classes in February

Do you have to own a gun to take the class?
It is preferred but not required for initial class, we have several firearms you can try out. Our certificate is good for 6 months, so it gives plenty of time to shop for a gun.
How long is the class?
Tulare county requires 16 hours for initial class, and 8 hours for renewal.
What are my chances of getting approved for ccw?
If you can legally buy a gun and pass the background you are highly likely to get approved in Tulare County according to the sheriffs office. (Tulare County)
Is the ccw only good for California?
No, it’s a multi state ccw for 25 total states, plus an option with our certificate for an Arizona non-resident ccw which would give you a total of 33 states!
Do you have to be a citizen?
No, you can be a legal resident to get your ccw.
What if someone who wants to take the class has Spanish as their first language?
No problem, we are bilingual and can thoroughly explain everything. However, the application is only in English and it is each individual to know the laws.
