Carbine / Pistol 2 Gun Fundamentals

This course covers both carbine and pistol fundamentals, and guides the shooter in establishing a foundation for integrating both pistol and carbine platforms.
It’s an opportunity to establish a baseline performance of each system and then explore what techniques are optimal for the particular context. Such as evaluating pistol and carbine performance at various distances and target sizes.
Topics covered include Gear considerations & placement. Performance of pistol vs. carbine, evaluation of pistol and carbine reloading procedures, evaluation of clearance techniques for pistol and carbine.

Transitioning between weapon systems, with multiple reps, and we added a few drills, plus 2 action packed competition style 2 Gun course of fire with movement in all directions, multiple rifle & pistol engagements, reloads, transition, PCSL targets, run & gun fun. That’s scored on Practiscore.

Required Equipment, handgun and carbine with sling, 3 magazines for each, 200 rounds for each. Quality holster which covers the trigger guard, no cross draw or serpa style holsters, strong side IWB or AIWB ok, and magazine carriers. Run your CCW gear, Duty Gear, or outside the waistband holster, plate carriers, chest rigs also welcomed. Eye and ear protection required as always.
