Intro To Rifle
Great option for new rifle owners, beginner level shooters, or anyone who wants to brush up on your fundamentals. This class is a mixture of lecture and hands on training designed to prepare each person to be safe gun handlers and competent shooters. Session includes a heavy emphasis on Firearm Safety rules and safe gun handling; loading & unloading, rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; supported & unsupported shooting positions; malfunctions; dry fire/dry practice, and continued opportunities for skill development.
We will cover how to zero your rifles and explain the zero process & distances. Various options to include using iron sights and unmagnified red-dot style optics also covered.
EQUIPMENT- Rifle/Carbine, sling optional, 2 magazines, 50 rounds minimum, eye and ear protection, cleaning kit optional, extra batteries for those who have optics.
