CCW Initial & Renewal Class for Tulare County & Kings County

Location is Port Naz 2005 W. Olive Ave Porterville Ca.
Room 309 (Westside Parking lot)

CCW Class – 8 Hour Renewal (as required by new law)
8 Hour Day towards Initial (law now requires 16 hours)
Initial CCW Class, this class will count towards the 16
hour requirement, day 2 can be attended at any other 8
Hour CCW Class).

Tulare County & Kings County Only

The course shall include instruction on firearm safety, firearm handling, shooting technique, safe storage, legal methods to transport firearms and securing firearms in vehicles, laws governing where permitholders may carry firearms, laws regarding the permissible use of a firearm, and laws regarding the permissible use of lethal force in self-defense.

The course shall include a component, no less than one hour in length, on mental health and mental health resources.
The course shall require students to pass a written examination to demonstrate their understanding of the covered topics.
The course shall include live-fire shooting exercises on a firing range and shall include a demonstration by the applicant of safe handling of, and shooting proficiency with, each firearm that the applicant is applying to be licensed to carry.
The Classroom portion will be conducted at Port Naz and the Range portion will be conducted at Gallardo Farms
Cost $130 for Renewal 8 Hour Course

$250 for Initial 16 Hour Course ($125 per 8 Hour session)
For Initial training you pay $125 per each 8 hour class, you can
take any 2-8 hour Renewal CCW classes to meet the new
state16 hour requirement, so you are welcome to take the second class within 30 days.

Payment options, cash, apple pay, Venmo, or checks payable to “Jesus Gallardo”, due upon check in.
Equipment required, bring each handgun you want to carry with your CCW, 50 rounds for your primary gun, and 25 rounds for additional guns. Glasses (sunglasses/prescription ok), hearing protection, holsters are not required but welcomed, however please have some type of case, as all guns need to be in a case or holstered. Notetaking material for those who like to take notes.
Class starts at 8:30am, check in begins at 8am.

We will break for lunch and after the class portion is complete meet up at the range to complete the training.
Fresh Brewed Coffee and Doughnuts will be provided.

Register on our website, please remember we need your name as you want it on your certificate, and all the gun serial numbers, which are required to be on your training certificate.
