Pistol Optics Fondations

INTRO TO HANDGUN OPTICS- This course is designed for anyone who is new to handgun optics or anyone who desires formal training on how to get optimal performance from your optic.

Course will cover various types of Red Dots, Reticles, Open vs Closed Emitters , Mounting Options, and most importantly how to zero your optic, which we will cover in depth in class and get everyone zeroed. Once all guns are zeroed we will introduce different aiming methods and drills to get shooters working on using their optics while remaining focused on the target.

Shooters will test their zeros on various distances up to 50 yards. Shooters will leave with the knowledge of establishing a foundation for Handgun Optics and the confidence to continue improving through continuous training.

EQUIPMENT- Bring your pistol, spare magazines or speed loaders, holsters welcomed but not required. Holsters can be OWB, IWB, or AIWB, Duty, Battle Belts, Plate Carriers, EDC/CCW gear are all welcome. 200-250 rounds recommended, eye and ear protection, and your motivation.
